I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here is a UK survival reality show produced by ITV. It pits a group of celebrities against each other through a series of challenges and tasks. Celebrities partake in a series of 'Bushtucker trials' and 'Dingo Dollar challenges' in order to secure additional food and luxury items for the camp. Celebrities are voted out by the general public, with the most popular celebrity gaining the infamous Jungle crown and becoming King or Queen of the jungle. The ITV show has a viewership of around 9 million and is often a ratings winner for ITV. The main show is accompanied by a sister show, I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp, which features unseen footage and behind the scenes snippets of life in camp. The series is hosted by the iconic duo, Ant and Dec, whose unique brand of swordplay comedy undoubtedly contributing to the show's popularity. During the 18th series, Ant was temporarily replaced by Holly Willougby due to off-screen issues.

Where is I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here filmed?

The first series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here was filmed at Kings Ranch, Queensland, Australia. Since the second season, the show has been filmed around Springbrook National Park, New South Wales, Australia. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic. the 20th season of the show will be filmed in Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales. Fans and critics seem happy with the new location, excited at the prospect of having a UK based version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.

The previous 5 series have been won by GoggleBox's Scarlett Moffet (Series 16), Made in Chelsea's Georgia Toffolo (Series 17), football manager Harry Redknapp (Series 18) and former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa (Series 19).

After Love Island's cancellation, there was much speculation about whether I'm a Celebrity 2020 would go ahead. At the beginning of August, ITV confirmed the jungle-based reality show would go ahead, swapping the Australian jungle for the UK countryside. As usual, Ant and Dec will remain hosts of the iconic ITV show. Though there is no official release date as of yet, filming is expected to start in November time, with rumoured campmates including Vernon Kay, Vinnie Jones, Jenny Ryan and Matt Baker.
