After an intensive day in the kitchen, you will adjourn to the Pantry dining room. It's here you'll be able to relax, savouring exquisite food paired with fine wine, whilst enjoying an informal chat with Michel Roux Jr. You'll leave the course with a signed copy of Michel Roux Jr's. cookbook, new cooking techniques, and a whole host of unforgettable memories

What Happens on the day?
The masterclass will begin promptly at 9.45 am, with participants enjoying a delicious light Welcome Breakfast to set them up for the day ahead. The day will continue with the preparation of a three-course meal, specifically designed by the chef for the occasion. Michel Roux Jr. will prodigiously demonstrate each dish, before allowing participants to re-create the course. Michel Roux Jr will be on hand to help, guide and nurture participants as they re-create the exquisite cuisine. Once completed, participants will be taken to the beautiful Pantry dining room to enjoy their culinary creations paired with delicious wines.

Michel Roux Jr is a world-renowned celebrity chef. His restaurant Le Gavroche currently holds two Michelin Stars. Michel Roux Jr. left school at 16 years old. He decided to follow in his father's footsteps and enter the culinary world.
After leaving school, he took on a series of challenging cooking apprenticeships. These included working with Master Patissiere, at Hellegouarche in Paris and Alain Chapel, at Mionnay in Lyon. Following military service, he worked in the kitchens of the Elysee Palace before returning to Paris to the Charcuterie Gerard Mothu, in St Mande, and at the Boucherie Lamartine on Avenue Victor Hugo.
A brief stint at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong preceded his return to London to work at La Tante Claire before joining the family business. He took over Le Gavroche in 1991. Since then, the restaurant has gone from strength to strength, with Michel Roux Jr. bring his own modern twist to the traditional menu.
Michel Roux Jr. has been a regular personality on our television screens. He has appeared on Hells Kitchen, Saturdays Kitchen and The Chef's Protégé. He is a presenter and judge on MasterChef: The Professionals and has presented all three series of Great British Food Revival.
