Hire a Celebrity Cricketer
Former England captains, World Cup winners and the voices of the commentary box, for corporate dinners, coaching sessions and hospitality at the great matches. Arranged around the cricketing calendar.
Hire a Celebrity Cricketer
A cricket legend at your event brings an Ashes summer into the room. We arrange former England captains, World Cup winners, international stars from around the world and the commentators your guests hear every Test match for corporate dinners, hospitality at the big matches, coaching sessions, after-dinner speaking and brand campaigns across the United Kingdom and Europe, discreetly and through one point of contact.
In plain terms: hiring a celebrity cricketer starts from £20,000, and a name is usually confirmed within two to three weeks of your first call. This is the tier that has played Test cricket and lifted trophies, not a county club professional.
Cricketers for Hire: Every Format
- After-dinner speaker: dressing-room stories, the Ashes and a question session for corporate dinners, club evenings and cricket society nights
- Personal appearance: a cricket legend joining your dinner, awards night or launch to meet guests and present the prizes
- Hospitality and matchday hosting: a famous face in your box at a Test, a T20 final or a one-day international, explaining the game as it happens
- Coaching session or net: a morning in the nets with a former international, for clients, teams or a cricket-mad birthday
- Brand ambassador: a cricketer fronting a campaign, a launch or a season-long partnership
Whether you want a cricketer for a single evening or as the centre of a whole hospitality day, we arrange the right name for the audience and the occasion. Corporate briefs run through our corporate celebrity experiences service, and hospitality formats are covered in our guide to celebrity corporate hospitality.
What It Costs to Hire a Cricketer
Fees follow the player’s profile, the format and the time spent with your guests. A respected former county and international player appearing for an evening sits at the lower end of the range; an Ashes-winning captain or a current household name sits at the upper end. Travel, accommodation and any filming or usage rights are set out separately and in writing before you commit. Our celebrity hire price guide shows where every category falls, and our cost to hire a celebrity cricketer guide goes into the detail for cricket.
How to Book a Cricketer Through Us
- Tell us the occasion: the date, the venue, the audience and what you want the cricketer to do
- Receive a shortlist: names who are genuinely available for your date, with a note on what each would bring
- We make the introduction: the fee negotiation and the contract are handled for you
- Brief the appearance: a planning call so the stories land with your guests and the format runs to time
- We manage the day: timings, travel, security and the running order, with one point of contact throughout
Matching the Cricketer to the Occasion
A cricket society dinner wants the raconteur with the best dressing-room stories; a corporate conference wants a captain who can talk about leadership and pressure; a hospitality box wants someone who can read the game for guests who are new to it. Availability moves with the international calendar and the franchise leagues, so we ask about the guests, the tone and the date before we suggest anyone. Our most requested cricketers for private events guide gives a sense of who clients ask for, and our how to book a famous cricketer guide walks through the process step by step.

Hire a Celebrity Cricketer for Your Event: Common Questions
How much does it cost to hire a cricketer?
Celebrity cricketers arranged through us start from £20,000. Personal appearances, after-dinner talks and hospitality days start from £20,000, and Ashes-winning captains and current household names command more. The fee moves with the player’s profile, the format, the location and whether any filming or usage is attached. Every quote is prepared individually and set out in full before you commit; our celebrity hire price guide covers the ranges in more detail.
How do I hire a cricketer for an event?
Tell us the date, the venue, the audience and what you want the player to do. We come back with a shortlist of cricketers who are genuinely available, make the introduction and negotiate the fee on your behalf, then manage the brief, the contract and the day itself. You are under no obligation at the shortlist stage.
Which cricketers can I book?
We arrange former England captains and internationals, World Cup and Ashes winners, stars from the other Test nations, and the commentators and pundits your guests hear every summer. Because every experience is arranged privately we do not publish names; once we understand the occasion we make specific recommendations.
Can a cricketer give an after-dinner speech?
Yes, and cricket has some of the best after-dinner speakers in sport. Dressing-room stories, the Ashes and a hosted question session are the formats corporate dinners and cricket societies ask for most.
Can I have a coaching session with a famous cricketer?
Yes. A morning in the nets with a former international, for clients, a team or a cricket-mad guest of honour, is a regular part of what we arrange.
Can I book a current player or only retired cricketers?
Both. Retired players have far more availability; current internationals are possible between series and outside the franchise leagues, and their playing commitments always come first.
How far in advance should I book?
Three to six months gives the widest choice, and dates during an Ashes summer or a World Cup are settled early. A name is usually confirmed within two to three weeks of your first call once the brief is agreed.
Do you arrange cricket hospitality?
Yes. A legend hosting your box at a Test, a T20 final or a one-day international is one of the most requested formats; see our guide to celebrity corporate hospitality for how those days are run.
Can a cricketer appear virtually?
Yes. A hosted question session or short talk over video works well for distributed teams and international audiences; see our virtual celebrity experiences for how those are arranged.
Will the booking stay private?
Yes. Discretion is standard, non disclosure agreements are arranged wherever they are wanted, and nothing is published or promoted without your permission.
